Vikash “Vik” Ramnanan, merging his strong foundation in psychology with the practice of yoga, offers a unique approach that caters to the diverse needs of his students.

Recognizing the profound intersection between the mind and body, Vik has equipped himself with a deep understanding of the whole-system impact of complex trauma on the human psyche. This knowledge enables him to integrate vital movement and breath practices that are essential for holistic healing. With his background, he seamlessly introduces trauma-informed techniques into his yoga sessions. Vik is adept at facilitating trauma-sensitive movement and breath practices, rooted in a comprehensive grasp of attachment theory and neuroscience. Beyond the physical, his teachings embrace an anti-oppressive approach, ensuring that every student feels acknowledged, understood, and respected. An alumnus of ASU, Vikash holds a BS in Psychology, having graduated with the highest honors. Vik is a certified 200-Hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200) and has been teaching Yoga since his college days. Additionally, his specialization in Mindfulness Training from Rice University equips him with the tools to help students live with a sense of freedom, and resilience.
