I am a certified yoga instructor with Yoga Alliance RYT and I have just completed YogaFaiths hr masters training I found yoga through my own experience with chronic illness and depression The tools of yoga helped both I deeply believe that these practices can help to integrate mental and physical wellness which led me to seek certification to teach I got my hr certificate through a traditional yoga school and while I enjoyed most of what I learned there were some things that I was uncomfortable with as a Christian Though it is not a religion yoga is an inherently spiritual practice with the power to affect us physically mentally and spiritually I later found YogaFaith which approaches the practice of yoga from a Christian worldview linking the spiritual aspects of yoga to the worship of the God of the Bible Christ Jesus Holy Spirit YogaFaith integrates movement mindfulness and prayer into moving flowing worship It is a beautiful and powerful way to connect to our Creator As a Master Trainer I am now equipped to teach a variety of levels and styles of yoga which can be tailored to an individual or group I also belly danced semi-professionally for a decade with two different troupes My style is mostly Turkish Egyptian cabaret and Ghawazi Belly dance movements are very grounded and feminine and are also an excellent workout Classes and workshops are a lot of fun!.
