Influenced by my teachers, peers, profession, travels, the natural environment and my children, I bring a unique approach and wisdom to my work.
My offerings as a yoga instructor are a rich blend of asana, body alignment, meditation, pranayama and life experience, through which my students leave feeling rejuvenated, grounded, and refreshed. My classes are taught with intention, and are challenging, physically and mentally, delivered in English and Sanskrit, with effective hands-on adjustments, and with a goal of personal empowerment and awakening. I am a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, and completed both my 200-hr and 300-hr Teacher Trainings with YogaWorks in Westlake Village, California and Westwood, California, under the mentorship of Lainie Devina. I am indebted to my mentor and teacher, who continues to enrich my yoga life with her dedication to the study of the philosophical underpinnings of yoga - Yoga Sutras, Bhagavad Gita and Upanishads and yoga's eight-limbed path. I continue to deepen my yoga practice by cultivating my knowledge of the subtle body with Jeanne Heileman.
