Willow (RYT-200) teaches yoga to help you get out of your head and into your body so you remember that you are a “spark of divinity” (in Iyengar’s words).
Her classes, with options for all experience levels, invite you to challenge your body and mind while honoring your autonomy and safety. Willow, who is currently working toward her RYT-500 certification, began casually practicing āsana in 2006 for fitness. Nine years later, she dove into the practice wholeheartedly to manage depression and anxiety, discovering the power of embodying yoga in all aspects of life. She began teaching yoga in 2017 after completing a 200-hour Power Yoga teacher training through UpRise Yoga School. Growing increasingly curious about the “why” behind yoga and how best to honor the lineage, she completed a 265-hour Contemplative Hatha Yoga teacher training program in 2022 through Yoga Home of Vedic Sciences and PranaYoga and Ayurveda Mandala. Willow is also a natural-medicine mentor, musician, writer, editor, and social justice activist.
