Yokko (MFA, RYT 200 in Vinyasa Flow, RYT 300 in Therapeutic Essentials, Ayurveda & Health Care, Jikiden Reiki Master, Yoga Nidra) completed her 200-hour Vinyasa training at Finding Sukha Yoga School (with Sarah Coleman & Shawn Granato) in 2011.

Through Prema Yoga Institute under Dana Slamp, she later completed her 300-hour training and is currently a candidate for Yoga Therapist certification. She received her Jikiden Reiki certification in 2018 (with Shiina Saotome) in Tokyo and completed Yoga Nidra training (with Yogi Chara) in 2020.Yokko has been teaching yoga since 2011, offering Vinyasa Flow, Slow Flow, and Yin/Yang classes at Grace & St. Paul’s Church, Finding Sukha Yoga School, the Center for Remembering & Sharing (CRS), ABC Sanctuary, the Actors Studio MFA Program, BeFitNYC, and Movement Improvement Physical Therapy. In 2014, she led the workshop “Slow Flow Yoga and Live Music” at CRS. Since 2015, she has created and taught the 12-week yoga curriculum for the physical theatre course at The Ume Group School Currently, she offers an online Moon Cycle Yoga Nidra class twice a month and works privately with clients based on their individual needs.
