Zeny Ogrisseg

Her first yoga experience was listening to her mom chanting "Om" as a child. Zeny's passion is in teaching traditional Yoga, Tantra and Ayurveda, through teacher trainings, retreats, workshops and private mentorship. She travels extensively all over India, as a pilgrim visiting yogis and temples, and to deepen her studies in Tantra and Ayurveda. With a love for mantra and sacred music she practices Sri Vidya under Guru Karunamaya and Mataji Srividya Lalithambika. Nada Yoga or the Yoga of Sound is a core part of her practice and teachings. A gifted musician, she chants, and plays several instruments including piano, harp, tanpura and harmonium. She is a Kundalini Acharya in the Nithyananda Sampradaya, and authorized teacher of Universal Yoga, Dance of Shiva, Tibetan Yantra Yoga, Satyananda Yoga Nidra, and Pilates. In addition to Yoga, Zeny has studied Daojia and martial arts including Taekwondo, Kung Fu and Qigong. Zeny leads 200 and 300 Yoga Teacher Trainings in the beautiful islands of Hawaii and Eco-Retreats in India that support conservation efforts to save the last Indian wild elephants and an orphanage for girls in Tamil Nadu.
